Job summary

Hussmann Corporation seeks a dedicated tester to perform electrical equipment testing across multiple product lines. You will correct issues found during tests, interpret rack wiring directions, and ensure final documentation is complete and accurate. You will review finished equipment and maintain thorough inspection records.

Proficiency with OHM meters and calibration tools is required. Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and basic troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and legends.
• Familiarity with NEC and safety standards is beneficial.
• Must be able to test CO2 units and related equipment.

• Interpreting direction of flow on racks and wiring applications on racks.

Qualifications

• Basic troubleshooting skills
• Electrical experience, NEC knowledge and code skills preferred for some product areas
• Must be able to test CO2 units with minimal assistance
• May need additional experience in Rack and PAP to be able to test in those areas
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and legends
• Depending upon the tester position, previous experience in leak testing, electrical, mechanical or a combination of is required
• Prior experience with testing equipment
• Working understanding of lean concepts
• Must have knowledge of required processes and procedures within the department
• Must have at least of two year of experience testing
• Must be able to work with all levels of employees
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must have a basic understanding of refrigeration flow systems
• Must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by production needs
