About Alpha Bank London
A Legacy of Trust. A Future of Innovation.

Founded in 1922, Alpha Bank London is a specialist bank serving clients across the UK and internationally. As part of the wider Alpha Bank Group, we combine the heritage and stability of an international banking organisation with the agility, exposure and collaborative culture of a smaller bank.

We're an ambitious organisation with exciting plans for growth, including the development of a new digital retail banking proposition focused on serving the Greek, Cypriot and wider diaspora communities across the UK.

Our Internship Programme

At Alpha Bank London, interns don't spend five months on the sidelines.

Our paid internship programme is built around real business projects that support key priorities across the Bank. From day one, you'll take ownership of meaningful work, gain exposure to senior leaders and develop practical skills that will help launch your career.

As an intern, you'll benefit from:

  • Ownership of a live business project with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
  • Direct access to senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Support from an experienced manager and dedicated buddy
  • Development sessions, networking opportunities and career insight events
  • Exposure to multiple business areas and the wider Alpha Bank Group
  • The opportunity to present your project outcomes and recommendations to senior stakeholders

As a specialist bank, we offer the responsibility, visibility and breadth of experience that can be difficult to find elsewhere.

  • Hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week in our London office (Wednesday is a core office day)
  • To maximise the internship experience, interns are encouraged to spend four days per week in the office
  • Recruitment and interviews will take place during October 2026
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for internship roles.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, developers, business stakeholders, vendors, and Alpha Bank Greece technology teams.
  • Gain an understanding of regulatory and governance requirements relevant to testing within financial services.
  • Maintain clear and accurate test documentation and traceability records.
  • Contribute ideas to improve testing processes and explore opportunities for automation.

  • A demonstrated interest in technology, software quality assurance, and financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks.
