Job summary

MCS Group invites applications for a Test Technician/ Electronic Technician role based in Belfast on a temporary contract basis. You will assemble electronic components and systems, carry out quality and testing inspections, and ensure accurate record-keeping in compliance with quality standards.

The role requires ONC/OND or GCSE Maths/English, and previous electronic assembly or test experience. Strong manual dexterity and soldering ability are important, with good communication and IT skills

MCS Group is recruiting a Test Technician/ Electronic Technician for our client based in Belfast on a temporary contract basis.

In this role, you will:

• Assemble electronic components and systems in line with technical drawings and specifications
• Carry out quality and testing inspections of components
• Mount components in assembly jigs with care and attention to detail
• Accurately complete assembly and test records
• Strict adherence to production processes and quality control requirements

You will have:

• Educated to ONC/OND level or equivalent OR GCSE level or equivalent, in Maths and English (Grade C or above)
• Previous experience in an electronic assembly or test role
• Good manual dexterity required for handling/manipulation of small/delicate components, with strong fault-finding skills down to component level
• Ability to solder.
• Good understanding of quality standards and procedures
• Good written and communication skills
• IT Literate
