Job summary

Manpower UK in Witney is seeking a hands-on Test Technician to join a busy LED manufacturing production team. You will test PCBs as part of production quality checks, assist fault finding and ensure issues are addressed correctly, and produce clear reports to capture outcomes and actions taken.

This permanent full-time role offers 8am–5pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-4pm Friday, with overtime, a company pension, and free on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a technical manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of electronics with a troubleshooting mindset.
• Excellent attention to detail; if something's not quite right, you'll spot it.

Join a busy production team as a Test technician where your technical eye and methodical approach make a real difference. Our Client is an LED lighting manufacturing company designing, engineering and producing lights for Aerospace, Maritime and the contract market-so accuracy and quality are at the heart of everything we do.

What you'll be doing:

• Testing PCBs as part of production quality checks
• Assessing repairs, supporting fault finding, and making sure issues are addressed correctly
• Producing clear report writing to capture outcomes and actions taken
• Collating and preparing reports efficiently, while staying focused on deadlines
• Helping maintain quality through internal auditing activity
• Managing your own workload across a fast-paced production environment

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience within a technical manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of electronics, with a confident troubleshooting mindset
• Excellent attention to detail-if something's not quite right, you'll spot it
• The ability to communicate clearly and work well with a wider production team
• Strong organisational habits to manage your workload and meet deadlines
• Experience of internal auditing (beneficial)
• Experience with electrical troubleshooting (preferred)
• A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a steady approach to work

Additional information:

• Hours: Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm
• Permanent full-time position with an immediate start possible
• Salary £29,500 plus overtime, company pension and free on-site parking
