Job Title: Test Technician

We are seeking a Test Technician to join the test and MAIT team of our client in the space industry. Their technology is used in low earth orbit satellites, helping drive advances in earth observation, telecommunications, and the opportunity to contribute to real missions that are launched into space.

Responsibilities:

• Test products for mechanical, thermal, and system-level functionality, safety, capabilities, compliance, and performance.
• Prepare and conduct prescribed tests according to test procedures.
• Assemble test setups, including thermal, mechanical, RF, and electronic/electrical components.
• Ensure the safe operation of test equipment and hardware.
• Support the creation and maintenance of test documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Test Technician, ideally in Space, Nuclear, or Aerospace sectors.
• Proficiency in test procedures and protocols.
• Strong report writing and document analysis skills.
• Knowledge of testing equipment such as thermal vacuum chambers, thermal chambers, and laser scanners.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Proactive and innovative problem-solving skills, with the ability to present findings and solutions.
