The One Group is pleased to be working with a global automotive consultancy business specializing in the powertrain market, including prototype engines, battery management systems, and motors. We are seeking a Test Technician to join the team on a permanent basis.

About the Role

If you are a Test Technician looking to work on a variety of projects, this opportunity might be for you. You will have the chance to join a leading engineering company that specializes in the design, development, and integration of electrified powertrain systems and advanced internal combustion engines. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects involving ICEs and battery technologies.

Responsibilities

1. Fitting instrumentation to propulsion systems (engines, batteries, motors).
2. Rigging systems and running the test facility.
3. Working within the Build and Test department responsible for the build and testing of prototype engines, batteries, and motors.
4. Supporting research and development of cutting-edge technologies.

Candidate Requirements

• Apprenticeship trained or time served within a propulsion testing facility.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Enthusiasm to work on future technologies.
