In this role as People & Finance Test & Release Lead, you will oversee the release management and testing of Oracle Fusion ERP and HCM. While Virgin Atlantic's Managed Service Provider will handle the delivery, your role is vital to ensuring releases are on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

You will define test and release strategies, oversee the development and delivery of release plans, and act as the main liaison between the team and stakeholders. You will continuously work on process improvements and support the broader People and Finance functions to enhance testing and release management standards.

Day to day

• Strategy, Planning, and Coordination: Define and communicate the release management process. Work with Oracle, the Managed Service Provider, and stakeholders to maintain an effective process. Conduct weekly reviews and escalate issues as needed.
• Release Management: Coordinate with systems, testing, change management, and business teams to ensure clarity on scope and delivery. Monitor progress, provide updates, and manage risks and delivery activities.
• Testing Oversight: Ensure all testing activities meet quality standards. Maintain processes for defect tracking and resolve testing challenges collaboratively.
• Continuous Improvement: Work on improving the release process, drive efficiencies through automation, and provide stakeholder support and training. Serve as the go-to expert for testing and release management within People and Finance.
