Job summary

Confidential Client in the Bristol area seeks a Test Manager to ensure robust test assurance for a high-profile defense programme. You will lead quality advocacy, oversee deliverables, and manage communication between the consultancy and government client.

Requirements include experience in end-to-end testing, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work in Agile and Waterfall environments. On-site 2–3 days per week with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full end-to-end testing programs in large projects.
• Knowledge of testing techniques, tools and trends.
• Experience writing test plans and exit reports.
• Comfort with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills with diplomacy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the test deliverables and purpose.
• Monitor progress and efficiency of the test effort.
• Identify and resolve significant defects to maintain quality.
• Advocate for appropriate testability in the software process.
• Coordinate communication between consultancy and government client.
