Job summary

KennedyPearce Consulting is seeking an experienced Test Manager to bring structure to the full testing lifecycle across complex programmes in financial services. You will lead end-to-end testing, define strategy, manage UAT teams and defect processes, and partner with PMs, BAs, developers and suppliers.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, SDLC/Agile expertise, and experience across multi-system projects; financial services background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Test Management, Test Leadership or a similar position.
• Experience leading testing across complex programmes with multiple systems and suppliers.
• Strong UAT and business testing experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end testing across multiple integrated systems.

• Defect management, test reporting and risk mitigation.

Job description

You’ll be responsible for bringing structure and accountability to the full testing lifecycle, from planning and test strategy through to UAT, defect management, quality gates and final go/no-go decisions. The role would suit someone who is comfortable operating across complex technology programmes and can confidently manage both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing third party and supplier QA
• Defect management, test reporting and risk mitigation
• Managing test environments, tooling and resources
• Working closely with Project Managers, BAs, developers and business stakeholders
• Ensuring testing remains aligned to wider programme timelines and objectives

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery

• Proven experience managing complex programmes involving multiple systems and suppliers
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Financial services experience would be particularly relevant, especially across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets or investment management, although this isn't essential.
