Job summary

Leek Building Society is seeking a Test Lead to coordinate testing across its projects and change initiatives. The role combines governance with hands-on test execution, including writing scripts, managing defects and ensuring traceability from requirements to outcomes.

You will plan testing activities, maintain evidence for governance, and report progress, coverage and risks. The position is based in Leek with hybrid working and a 35-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience planning or coordinating testing across projects or change initiatives.
• Experience writing, reviewing and executing test scripts and test cases.
• Knowledge of test planning, design, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans and approaches reflecting project risk and scope.
• Create, review and execute functional, integration, system, regression and UAT test scripts.
• Coordinate testing resources, environments and data across projects.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, tests and defects; provide progress reports.
