Test Lab Support Engineer - 36057998 - £27.21/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do:

- Assemble test rigs and test properties to meet required specifications.

- Operate rig control systems to ensure accurate and representative test conditions.

- Use data acquisition and instrumentation systems to collect robust and reliable data.

- Inspect and maintain rigs, diagnose issues, and ensure timely and effective repairs.

- Conduct inspections to identify issues and support root cause analysis.

- Maintain meticulous test process documentation, including reports, logs, and plans.

- Coordinate fixture design and manufacture as needed, in collaboration with the design team.

What You Will Bring:

- Technical knowledge and experience in test facility operations and sample preparation.

- Understanding of data acquisition and closed-loop control systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to technical challenges.

- Effective communication skills and the ability to interpret engineering documentation.

- Familiarity with Health and Safety standards, including Risk Assessments and COSHH.
