CELEROS Flow Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Test Fitter to join the test team for pumps used in OE and aftermarket orders. You will install, align, commission and dismantle test setups, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the testing cycle.

The role requires a time-served Mechanical Fitter with at least 3 years of experience in heavy manufacturing, plus a safety-focused mindset and teamwork to meet demanding schedules.

Qualifications

• Time served Mechanical Fitter with at least 3 years relevant experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Strong safety mindset to manage risks in the test environment.
• Experience with rotating equipment and laser alignment is advantageous.
• Understanding lean manufacturing techniques.
• Team player able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Install pumps and ancillary equipment for testing and align rotors.
• Control test parameters including temperature and pressure within limits.
• Highlight non-conformances and support issue resolution.
• Break down test setups and store equipment per procedures.
• Carry out self-inspection and complete required paperwork.
• Maintain test department equipment for reliability and availability.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce costs and boost productivity.
• Collaborate with managers to implement company policies and goals.
