Job summary

Modis is seeking an Electronics Test Equipment Design Support Engineer for a long-term contract based in Bolton. The role is predominantly on site with the possibility of occasional home working.

You will design and support test equipment, work within multi-disciplinary teams, and lead delivery of your work packages from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital/analogue electronics, power electronics, RF/antenna, and PCB/Schematic design, with a strong

Qualifications

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) with experience of designing product/systems and supporting designs through manufacturing.
• Proven experience in the design of digital/analogue electronics, power, RF/antenna, etc.
• Experience in schematic and PCB design and adherence to BS EN standards.
• Excellent communication and ability to write engineering documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of design outputs and engage with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare discreet work packages, bid preparation, cost control, and delivery of solutions.
• Experience in supporting manufacturing and resolving manufacturing issues is an advantage.
