Position: Test Engineer – Electrical Products

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

About the Role

Our test engineers play a vital role in certifying the safety of products for global consumers, ensuring they meet industry standards. Based in our Loughborough laboratory, you will develop test setups, interpret standards, and contribute to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and calibrate test rigs to simulate product use.
  2. Perform tests according to ISO standards and record results.
  3. Interpret standards to lead testing procedures.
  4. Support testing efficiency improvements and equipment upgrades.
  5. Contribute to a safe working environment through risk assessments.
  6. Manage multiple projects and report technical findings.
Candidate Requirements
  • Background in Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles and measurement techniques.
  • Experience with testing equipment such as load banks, multimeters, and earth bond testers.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
