Test Engineer
Location: Hook

Salary: £45k

Test Engineer Overview:

We are recently partnered with a world-leading electronics manufacturer that supplies solutions into Aerospace, Defence, and Security sectors. Due to their continued growth, they are looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to join their facility in Hook. The role is to ensure the accurate and timely testing and diagnosis of PCB assemblies, adhering to customer specifications and company processes to support production throughput.

Test Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive testing and diagnosis of customer products, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
2. Provide timely technical support to external customers, addressing their inquiries effectively.
3. Report work status and progress to the Test Team Leader.
4. Maintain accurate and detailed test data sets.
5. Conduct fault diagnosis to the component level, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
6. Program devices according to customer specifications.
7. Take ownership of personal training and development.
8. Prioritise health and safety, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Test Engineer Requirements:

1. HNC in electronics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
3. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
4. Ability to read and interpret customer drawings and schematics.
5. Proficiency in component identification.
6. Demonstrates a proactive and results-oriented approach.
7. Excels in attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
