What we need:

Stratasys is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Test Engineer to join our team based in Aylesbury, United Kingdom. This position is an on-site role.

In this role:

Reporting to the Snr Production Manager, your focus will be working in the test environment for the Neo 3D Stereolithography printer production line. This includes setting up each printer, testing products to ensure they meet specifications, and fault finding. You will follow predefined testing procedures, take measurements, record data, and complete production logs. Tests vary in complexity and duration from 3 to 5 days. You will also receive detailed product training to develop the necessary skills for this role.

What you will be doing:

1. Final assembly and testing of 3D stereolithography printers
2. Mechanical alignment of various sub-systems
3. Optical laser alignment
4. Scanner geometrical calibration
5. Functional testing of all operational systems
6. Printing of diagnostic test parts
7. Measuring and assessing diagnostic parts
8. Documentation and analysis of production results
9. Optimising testing methods and certification documentation

Must have for this role:

1. A formal qualification such as an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, City & Guilds, or an NVQ equivalent
2. 3-5 years of experience in final product testing within a manufacturing environment
3. Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and rectifying issues independently
4. A desire for continuous learning and understanding
5. Motivation to produce industry-leading products
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
7. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
