Cirrus Selection is seeking a Test Development Engineer specialized in Automated Test Equipment to join our Bolton-based team. You will shape how circuit card assemblies are tested as the capability expands, interfacing between design and manufacturing to drive robust test solutions.

The role focuses on designing and supporting ATE, with emphasis on analogue/digital circuit design, documentation, and root cause resolution.

Qualifications

Degree qualified or equivalent industry experience.
Significant experience designing or supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Solid grounding in analogue and digital circuit design fundamentals.
Experience producing and working from technical documentation, schematics, PCB layouts and engineering drawings.
Strong investigative skills, able to find root cause and implement lasting corrective actions.
Confident written and verbal communication, able to influence across a multi-disciplinary team.
Comfortable working autonomously and leading your own work assignments to delivery.

Responsibilities

Design and support Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
Work with analogue and digital circuit designs and produce schematics, PCB layouts and drawings.
Investigate root causes and implement corrective actions that stick.
Collaborate between design and manufacturing with stakeholders to drive improvements.
