Job summary

Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire, is recruiting a Test Cell Technician for engine test operations in Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN.

The role covers all aspects of PT6A & PT6T engine testing, adherence to OEM manuals and Euravia Quality Systems, with a focus on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent position based on weekdays (Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours).

Qualifications

• Good level of education.
• Experience in an engine test/test cell environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be competent in all aspects of engine test.
• Be competent in rigging and de-rigging engines for test.
• Perform limited engine build tasks including fitting/removing accessories and engine split.
• Ensure test cell processes comply with regulatory standards.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated to standards.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and contribute to future test cell strategy.
• Maintain Euravia Quality Systems compliance.
• Maintain the highest 6S standard.
• Comply with Health & Safety requirements and liaise with H&S manager.
• Undertake other tasks as designated by Line Manager.

Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for a Test Cell Technician.

• Full-time-permanent position
• Weekdays are Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.
• Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN

This role will have responsibility for all operations relating to test of PT6A & PT6T engines in compliance with OEM manuals, and in accordance with Euravia’s Quality Systems.

Essential Responsibilities

• To be competent in all aspects of engine test
• To be competent in all aspects of rigging & de-rigging engines for test
• Limited elements of engine build including; Fitting/removing accessories, engine split and component change
• Ensure test cell processes are compliant with regulatory standards
• Ensure all equipment is calibrated to correct standards
• Keep abreast of new emerging technologies and be pivotal in the implementation of the future business strategy for test cell environment
• Ensure compliance with Euravia’s Quality Systems
• Maintain the highest 6S standard
• Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
• Completion of any other tasks as designated by your Line Manager
