Job summary
Jobtailor is seeking an Engineering test professional to develop and implement processes and tools that enable the successful delivery of test programmes. You will work with SMEs and capability teams to drive technical excellence in Development Engineering and support strategic resource planning to meet programme priorities.
You will help monitor supplier performance, develop and improve engineering methods and tools, and contribute to the creation of design verification evidence and technical
Qualifications
- Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience with test design and engineering test programmes.
- Experience producing evidence to support design verification and validation.
- Experience producing technical documentation (requirements, calculations, test specs, drawings, CAD/P&IDs).
- Understanding of engineering risk management principles.
- Experience in regulated industries would be advantageous.
- Experience developing and improving engineering methods, tools, processes and team capability.
- Experience creating or supporting functional strategies and improvement plans.
- Proactive in challenging existing ways of working and driving continuous improvement.
- Experience developing digital tools, workflows or business processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes, methods, tools, standards and guidance for successful test programme delivery.
- Support strategic resource planning to meet priorities and business needs.
- Collaborate with SMEs and capability teams to drive technical excellence in Development Engineering.
- Support project teams to achieve cost, quality and schedule objectives.
- Ensure testing processes and tools integrate with wider business activities.
- Monitor and improve supplier performance across the Development Engineering supply chain.
- Contribute to development of technical quality, competency and safety standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across testing capability and delivery.
- Engage stakeholders to support the successful execution of test programmes.
