Job summary

Sanderson Government & Defence is seeking a Test Manager to lead a small team of test analysts and testers. You will oversee the verification testing phase, define the test plan, coordinate scripts, and manage test setup, execution, and risk monitoring within a Digital Engineering environment.

The role requires coordination with project teams, business representatives, developers, and vendors to ensure quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Job description

A Test Manager is required to manage the planning and lead a test analyst and tester team, overseeing all testing activities for a Verification testing phase (similar to UAT) to ensure Digital Engineering applications meet defined quality standards and business requirements. The role involves leading a small team of resources to manage end to end test activities. The role involves defining the test plan, coordinating the writing of test scripts, coordinating test set-up and execution, monitoring defects and risks, and providing regular status reporting to stakeholders. The Test Manager will work closely with project teams, business representatives, developers, and vendors to ensure effective quality assurance throughout the delivery lifecycle, enabling successful completion of the test phase. Test script definition and test management in a Digital Engineering environment integrated around a PLM application suite is essential. Experience with Digital Engineering tools such as Siemens Team Centre, BAE PropheSea, CDS, DOORS NG, CAMEO, CAD tools and Medini is preferable. Experience gained in defence or security industries would also be beneficial
