Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants seeks a dedicated bakery demonstrations and training specialist to manage full demo setups, maintain a clean and safe bakery environment, and conduct client training at test bakeries or sites. You will also support trade shows, manage stock, and travel as required.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills, and a good grasp of health and safety regulations, with willingness to travel nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full setup for product demonstrations, including booking the bakery, purchasing ingredients, commissioning and decommissioning equipment, and ensuring all equipment is returned to the warehouse in perfect condition.
• Take full responsibility for the bakery environment, including kitchen equipment, equipment storage, ingredients, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are upheld within the bakery, demonstration areas, and training spaces.
• Conduct training for customers and customer staff at the test bakery or client sites, ensuring accurate training records and providing detailed feedback to clients and Sales Representatives.
• Assist clients with adapting and fine-tuning recipes to achieve optimal results using company equipment.
• Attend store openings and relaunches to provide customer support, including follow-ups to ensure competency after training.
• Manage stock ordering, prepare and staff company stands at trade shows and exhibitions, and travel locally, nationally, and internationally as required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Professional baking and bakery management (NQF Level 6) advantageous
• 5+ in Baking Industry
• Strong understanding the full spectrum of bakery processes and troubleshooting challenges.
• Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal & Written)
• Understanding Management processes – Planning, Organising, Leading and Controlling Skills
• Responsible and Accountable for managing expenditure
• Knowledge/Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and basic first aid
• Unendorsed Drivers Licence with an ability to travel to customer sites nationally and internationally.
