Are you passionate about baking? We are looking for a QC Test Baker to join our QC Team. Working a 6am - 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday Shift Pattern.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate and reproducible test bakes (Measure and combine ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make products) Test ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.
• Analysing test bakes, writing reports, and feeding back findings, keeping written documentation of all stages
• Support complaints/failures investigations as required carrying out test bake on finished goods, presenting back findings and next steps to line manager/ internal customers via email and on Teams calls/in person
• Building upon knowledge of scientific bakery technology

Essential Skills

• Strong experience in practical bakery
• Competent IT Skills
• Experience in a fast moving Food Manufacturing Environment
• Previous QC and Bakery experience
