Overview

Python Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced technical automation consultant skilled in Python test automation using Pytest.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of technical testing experience, including working within agile test teams deploying solutions to the Cloud.

Required automation experience includes Python, with deployment to an AWS environment.

You should be accustomed to working as part of a development team, potentially in an SDET role or with a background as a software developer.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in delivering advanced web-based technical solutions.

The candidate must be proactive, communicative, and capable of producing clear testing documentation, providing accurate estimates, and confidently presenting testing plans.

Key skills include:

• Minimum 5 years testing experience with a focus on automation
• Experience in agile environments, including development, coding, and continuous integration
• Proficiency in writing automated tests in Python
• Certification in AWS concepts, preferably AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• Experience leading testing teams and guiding automation strategies
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing processes
• Ability to adapt across different technical environments

Desirable:

• Development experience in multiple programming languages
