Job summary
IBM CIC in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quality Engineer with expertise in automation to streamline testing and deliver reliable software solutions. You will develop and maintain automated testing strategies, leveraging tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Cucumber to improve efficiency and coverage.
The role requires strong Java DevOps experience, end-to-end testing skills including UAT, and the ability to integrate testing automation into delivery pipelines within Agile/DevOps
Qualifications
- Strong Java DevOps infrastructure experience.
- Experience of writing test automation scripts.
- Model office testing and end-to-end/UAT testing experience.
- Experience with automation builds for IT systems and applications.
- Highly experienced in multiple test automation tools and technologies.
- Understand testing requirements and build optimized test scenarios, automation for test data and environments.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Containers and integrating testing automation into delivery automation.
Responsibilities
- Build automated tests using Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon, and Cucumber.
- Design and create test data and test environments.
- Write and execute test scripts under supervision and identify errors.
- Identify and document programming errors and discrepancies from requirements.
- Present test results clearly to clients and project teams.
