Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a Test Automation Engineer (Scrum) in Hampshire, onsite five days a week. You will design, develop, and run automated tests across APIs, microservices, and UIs, ensuring reliable CI/CD integration and high-quality deployments.

You will work in an Agile Scrum team, with strong skills in Selenium, Playwright, Postman, and RestAssured, plus Python/Java/TypeScript coding and Git version control. A STEM background or NVQ levels is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing and executing automated test scripts.
• Strong proficiency with API, microservices and UI test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration and agile Scrum practices.

Responsibilities

• Script Development: build maintainable automated tests for APIs, microservices, and UIs.
• Pipeline Execution: integrate tests into CI/CD for each build.
• Defect Investigation: log defects with steps and verify fixes.
