Job summary

Huxley Associates invites a Test Automation Engineer to join a permanent hybrid role in the UK, with London or Glasgow as proposed bases. You will design scalable automation frameworks, build QA platforms, and contribute to AI evaluation capabilities for AI-powered products.

You bring hands-on experience with Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, strong coding in Python/TypeScript/Java/C#, and a track record of integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, plus exposure to AI testing and solid stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience as Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or Quality Engineer in Agile/product environments.
• Strong coding practices and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on automation of UI, API, and end-to-end testing.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates.
• Exposure to AI/LLM testing and AI-powered applications.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• We require experience as a Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or Quality Engineer within Agile and product-driven environments.
• We require strong programming expertise in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or C#, with solid software engineering and coding best practices.
• We require hands-on experience building and maintaining UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Pytest, or Rest Assured.
• We require proven experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, including quality gates, test reliability, and automation optimization.
• We require exposure to AI/LLM or Agentic AI testing, including evaluation frameworks, non-deterministic testing, and automated quality assurance for AI-powered applications.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• We require strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
