London Hybrid working model, 2 days a week office-based, 3 days remote

We are offering a fantastic opportunity to secure an initial 6-month contract as a Test Assurance Manager within a hybrid working environment in London. As a Test Assurance Manager, you will oversee all necessary Test Assurance activities across various test phases for assigned programmes, including line management of Test Assurance Leads and Test Assurance Analysts, in accordance with DCC’s management policies.

What will you be doing?

1. Manage DCC’s engagement with Programmes/Projects and Service Providers on test assurance matters for relevant projects.
2. Line manage and develop Test Assurance Leads and Test Assurance Analysts.
3. Establish the scope and agree on testing activities to be undertaken by Service Providers.
4. Direct the analysis of test evidence to ensure that agreed criteria are met.
5. Collate, report, and present information on testing progress and assurance.
6. Produce high-quality written reports.

What are we looking for?

• Extensive experience managing Test Teams, including developing and coaching team members, with a commitment to high performance and continuous improvement, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong experience managing multiple workstreams.
• Ability to quickly understand complex functionalities and architectures, with in-depth knowledge of testing standards and processes, and how these apply to service providers.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify exceptions, propose solutions, and respond appropriately.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences and senior executives.
• Experience managing both functional and non-functional testing phases, preferably including network, infrastructure, and application testing projects.
