As a Technician in our Test & Development team, you’ll play a hands‑on role in supporting the development and validation of our vehicles. Based in our Scarborough workshop, you’ll carry out electrical and mechanical tasks to prepare vehicles and test rigs for verification activities.
Working closely with engineers, you’ll build, modify, and instrument vehicles to support testing both on‑site and at external facilities. This is a varied and practical role where you’ll contribute directly to innovation, product quality, and performance, while working in a fast‑paced and evolving engineering environment.
We’re looking for a practical and self‑motivated individual with a strong automotive engineering background. You’ll have experience working with electrical and mechanical systems and be confident interpreting engineering drawings and carrying out fault finding.
You’ll be comfortable working independently or as part of a team, capable of solving problems and meeting deadlines in a hands‑on workshop environment. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are key to success in this role.
