Job summary

Test Analyst x 2 in Bath, with SaaS/Python emphasis, up to £45k. Two days per week hybrid work in Bath; role involves collaborating with developers, BAs and PMs to strengthen testing and support continuous delivery of quality software.

Ideal candidates will have strong UI and API testing, Python automation experience, and SQL Server skills, plus familiarity with Postman/ReadyAPI/Swagger and Selenium tooling. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing for web front-ends and web apps.
• UI and API test experience a must.
• Automation of complex web UIs using Python is desirable.
• Familiarity with Postman, ReadyAPI or Swagger.
• Hands-on with Selenium WebDriver/Grid and Applitools.
• Strong SQL skills with SQL Server.
• Good understanding of the SDLC and test design.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Test Analyst x 2 - SaaS/Python - Up to £45k - New

Location is Bath. 2 days per week.

A leading software house/consultancy in Bath requires a number of Test Analysts to join its growing team. Suitable candidates will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to enhance testing capabilities and support the continuous delivery of high-quality solutions for customers.

You will have:

• Strong experience in software testing, preferably focused on web front-end and web applications
• Experience of UI and Web Service/API testing
• Experience of automating complex web user interfaces - ideally using Python
• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or Swagger
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and/or Applitools
• Solid understanding of test design and requirements analysis
• Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server
• Methodical, pragmatic approach to testing, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Any experience of Python would be useful/beneficial.
