Job summary

Randstad Technologies Recruitment in the UK is seeking an experienced Software Quality / Automation Test Analyst with active SC clearance to join a hybrid team delivering large-scale transformation projects in London and other hubs.

You will work with developers, BAs and product owners to design, implement and run automated and manual tests, maintain scalable automation frameworks, and contribute to UAT and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in QA/Automation roles within large-scale Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.
• Experience designing, executing and maintaining functional, integration and regression tests.
• Strong communication and client-facing adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
• Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, and UAT support.
• Identify, log and track defects with clear traceability.
• Generate quality metrics and ensure security/compliance aligned testing.

Job Details

• Contract: 1 Year (Inside IR35)
• Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site in London, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, or other hubs)
• Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Automation / Test Analyst to drive end-to-end quality assurance on large-scale transformation projects. You will work within Agile teams alongside Developers, BAs, and Product Owners to design, execute, and maintain automated and manual testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Delivery: Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and E2E test cases.
• Automation: Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks.
• Agile Integration: Participate in sprint planning, refinement, stand-ups, and UAT support.
• Defect Management: Identify, log, and track bugs through to resolution, ensuring traceability.
• Reporting & Compliance: Generate quality metrics for stakeholders and ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards.

Key Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience: Proven track record in QA/Automation roles within large-scale Agile (Scrum/SAFe) environments.
• Testing Tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Postman (API testing).
• Automation (Desirable): Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Technical (Desirable): SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Cloud/Data projects.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and client-facing adaptability.
