Job summary

Lorien is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for delivering high-quality, reliable digital solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and drive continuous improvement in test automation practices.

Location is Leeds or London with 2/3 days onsite; 12 months contract, Inside IR35, active SC clearance required.

Qualifications

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Karate, Postman, or SOAPUI.
• Knowledge of Java or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of Cucumber BDD.
• Docker and Kubernetes exposure.
• Performance and security testing experience.
• Kafka, IBM MQ, or ACE knowledge.
• Banking or Financial Services experience.
