Job summary

Tesco is hiring a Shift Lead Night to manage and motivate a store team during night hours. You will coordinate daily operations, ensure excellent customer service, and act as the key point of contact for colleagues.

The role includes working nights (22:00–07:00) with pay rates starting at £15.59/hour and an extra night premium between 00:00–06:00. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed, with potential for more hours.

Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
