Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead in the United Kingdom to oversee daily store operations and lead the team on shift. You will ensure a high standard of customer service, coordinate with colleagues across store areas, and act as the on-shift leader in the store manager's absence.

The role requires a strong track record in retail leadership, clear communication, and a passion for delivering great service in a fast-paced environment. 18+ and flexible hours are expected.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
