Tesco Shift Lead is a store-focused leadership role where you’ll guide a team to deliver a great customer experience. You’ll work across store areas, handle day-to-day queries, and build positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.

You’ll be 18 or over to apply, with minimum hours guaranteed weekly and flexible shifts. Tesco offers discounts, wellbeing support, life cover and a market-leading pension to help you grow with the business.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.
• Build positive, long-lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.
• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
• A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
