Job summary

Tesco UK in Ellesmere Port is seeking a Shift Lead to help deliver a great in-store experience for customers. You will lead a small team, coach colleagues and act as the go-to person for day-to-day store operations, ensuring outstanding service and smooth running of shifts.

You'll work across store areas, communicate clearly, build positive relationships and step in when the Manager is absent. The role requires 18+ and a passion for delivering great service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
