Job summary

Tesco UK is looking for a proactive Shift Lead to inspire the store team and deliver great customer service across all areas of the shop. You’ll coach colleagues, manage day‑to‑day operations, and resolve issues with calm, balanced judgment.

This role offers flexible scheduling within available windows and a minimum weekly hours commitment in a fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will model inclusivity, communicate clearly, and adapt to change while ensuring every customer

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
