Job summary

Tesco Ilkley is hiring a permanent Shift Lead to help run the store. You’ll lead the team, deliver a great customer experience, and coordinate day-to-day store operations across all areas. You’ll build positive relationships and communicate clearly to keep the team informed and engaged.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (from £15.59, rising in some stores), a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week, and flexible working options. 18+ eligibility, apply by 17-Aug-2026.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will need

• To be over 18 for this role.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.

• A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed.
