Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Shift Lead to drive customer service and store operations. You’ll lead the team across departments, handle day-to-day queries, and ensure a great in-store experience.

You'll work within defined availability windows and have minimum guaranteed hours, with shifts from 12 hours or more. You’ll mentor colleagues, model excellent service, and step in for the store manager when needed.

Tesco Shift Lead pay starts at �15.59 per hour, rising to �16.86 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks� notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we�re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
