Tesco Colleague - Post Office - Barwell Moore Express is seeking friendly team players to serve customers with pride. You’ll work in a busy store, handle transactions, and help maintain stock and shelves while upholding Tesco values.

You’ll be offered an hourly rate starting at £13.28, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week (12 hours on request). Flexible hours and a supportive colleague network are part of the package.

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.

The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work – the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you’re available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you.

You will be responsible for

• Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.

• Putting into practice the training you have received, so we all work safely, effectively and serve our customers brilliantly.

• Process transactions and declaring moneys / stock with accuracy and integrity whilst processing cash transactions with accuracy and confidence
• Handling confidential and important documents with care and attention to detail.
• Completing all regulatory training and tests in accordance with required timescales.

• Disposing of confidential waste in accordance with the confidential waste routines.
• Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.

• Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
