Job summary

Tesco Phone Shop Colleague role in the UK retail network requires delivering friendly customer service and helping customers choose mobile products and services. You will support with phone setups, contracts, and a range of tech queries while contributing to great store performance.

The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork and inclusion, with shifts scheduled within availability windows. The position is designed to fit around a minimum of 12 hours per week, with pay starting at £13.70 per hour

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Providing flexible support across the Phone Shop and wider store, including helping customers choose the right mobile products and services, completing phone and contract setups, and supporting customers with a range of tech queries.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting every customer with a smile, and serving them with pride while helping them find the right mobile products and solutions.
• The ability to build rapport quickly so customers leave feeling confident, supported, and having had a great experience in the Phone Shop.
• The initiative to make the right decisions for customers, whether you’re solving a tech query, recommending a product, or supporting with a contract setup.
• A positive, team‑focused approach, communicating openly, working well with colleagues across the store, having fun, and celebrating success together.

Tesco Phone Shop Colleague pay starts at £13.70 per hour, rising to £14.97 in stores within the M25.Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.
