Job summary

Tesco UK, Longton Extra, in Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a temporary colleague for early shifts beginning at 4.30am. The role offers 12 hours per week or more, with flexibility around availability and a commitment to great customer service.

The rate starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with benefits including holiday allowance, discounts, pension, and life cover. Applicants must be over 18 and included in the shift schedule.

Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 12 hours per week.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we're looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
