Job summary

Tesco PLC is seeking store-based colleagues to provide friendly, attentive service and help customers with a range of duties from shelves to checkout. Roles include flexible hours and a commitment to welcoming every customer with a smile and a pride in serving the community.

Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25, with a guarantee of at least 16 hours per week and shifts scheduled with notice.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers.
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed.
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines.
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance.
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience.
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers.
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success.

Tesco Colleague pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in stores within the M25. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks' notice of your shifts. You will be responsible for
