Purpose of the role:

Your role as a full-time, permanent team member, will be representing the Ice Cream brands portfolio on behalf of Unilever, including Ben and Jerry's, Walls, and Magnum.

As part of the Dee Set team, you will work with colleagues responsible for increasing Unilever's ice cream brand's performance, awareness, and availability across UK small-format grocery retailers. You will conduct retail store visits within a defined territory, focusing on driving distribution, availability, sales, and brand engagement to enhance turnover and market share using our data tools.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Visit grocery and convenience stores to build strong relationships with decision makers and add value to the store.
  • Utilize data tools to identify insights and implement targeted actions to improve product distribution and availability.
  • Negotiate with store decision makers to ensure distribution and availability of Unilever Ice Cream brands, increasing sales and brand awareness.
  • Act as the ‘eyes and ears’ for the brand and Dee Set in-store, identifying issues, opportunities, and gathering intelligence on retailers and competitors.
  • Follow Dee Set's proven processes to make a positive impact for clients.
  • Conduct professional, efficient, and effective store visits.
  • Record all visit information accurately using a tablet and bespoke software.

  • Experienced in Sales, with knowledge of the Independents, Wholesale, and Convenience sectors.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • A great communicator, capable of building credible relationships in stores.
  • Passionate about building brand awareness and motivated by results.
  • Capable of executing store-level results effectively.
  • Data-driven with the ability to analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Holding a full current UK manual driving license.
