Job summary

AkzoNobel in the UK is seeking a Territory Manager - Distributor to drive sales across designated accounts in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambs. This field-based role requires building strong relationships, delivering profitable growth, and managing cash collection.

My responsibilities include developing distribution opportunities, executing sales plans, launching promotions and enhancing brand presence in-store while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience or willingness to learn on the job.
  • Able to build relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and financial skills.
  • Understanding of category management and merchandising.
  • Able to achieve targets and negotiate effectively.
  • Must have a full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Work with designated accounts in your territory to deliver sales, profit and share and cash collection targets
  • Prospect for and develop new distribution opportunities
  • Develop appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods as well as providing quality of service
  • Execute business sales plans, marketing initiatives, new product launches, promotions and more to grow profitability
  • Review brand presence and maintain brand leadership status by regularly merchandising our products to gain maximum awareness in store
  • Deliver customer service levels that ensure the market continues to use AkzoNobel products above all others.

The Role
