Buckinghamshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children within a primary school setting. You will work with small groups or 1:1, helping pupils achieve academic, social and emotional goals.

The role is fixed-term, term-time only, and part-time with hours 12:00 to 15:15. Starting October 2026, it offers a supportive team environment in a village near Aylesbury.

Formación

• Good level of literacy and maths.
• Passion for working with children and helping them overcome challenges.
• Experience of supporting young people in an educational setting, ideally pupils with SEND.
• Positive approach with commitment to inclusive and supportive learning.
• Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to new strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support to a small group of pupils or 1:1 in the classroom.
• Promote the learning and personal development of pupils to maximise opportunities.
• Assist with preparation and use of learning resources and materials.
• Support the teacher in implementing strategies for pupils with special educational needs.
