Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a qualified Secondary PE Teacher to support a network of local secondary schools. You will lead practical sessions across major sports and deliver GCSE/BTEC theory while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all learners.

We welcome QTS holders or those with equivalent qualifications (ECTs encouraged) and a current DBS. You will work flexibly in term-time roles, with daily rates and weekly pay through Randstad.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs encouraged).
• Degree in Sports Science, PE or related field with KS3/KS4 curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to motivate students and promote active participation.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead practical sessions KS3/KS4 across multiple sports.
• Deliver GCSE/BTEC theory and practical moderation.
• Ensure safety, equipment management, and correct usage.
• Differentiation to support SEND and high performers.
