Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting a Secondary PE Teacher for our network of local secondary schools. The role offers Full-Time or Part-Time hours during term time, with daily rates between £140 and £233 and immediate or next-term start.

You will lead practical sessions across KS3/KS4, deliver GCSE/BTEC theory, ensure safety, and provide adaptive coaching for SEND or high achievers. A Qualified Teacher Status and an enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required; ECTs encouraged to apply.
• Degree in Sports Science, PE, or related field with KS3/KS4 curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to motivate students and build rapport.
• Enhanced DBS on update service (or willingness to apply) and safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead practical sessions across KS3/KS4, covering team sports and athletics.
• Deliver GCSE/ BTEC theory and practical preparation for assessments.
• Ensure safety, equipment management, and inclusive learning environments.
• Differentiate coaching to support SEND and high‑achieving students.
