Vision for Education Ltd is looking for a proactive Science Technician to support practical learning in a secondary school in Blackpool, Lancashire starting September 2026. This term-time only role requires preparation for science lessons across Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

The ideal candidate has experience in a laboratory environment, strong organisational and communication skills. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a supportive school environment offering a chance for professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Science Technician or laboratory assistant is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classrooms and laboratories for Science lessons.
• Set up practical experiments and equipment.
• Maintain and organise laboratory resources.
