Job summary

Gedney Church End Primary Academy is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the school’s buildings, facilities and external contractors. The role requires safeguarding a safe environment for students and staff during term time plus 2 weeks, with duties from early morning to early evening across Monday to Friday.

You will manage security, heating and utilities, oversee planned maintenance, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in site/facilities management is essential.
• Healthcare and safety awareness required.
• Ability to work with contractors and external teams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out security procedures for buildings, facilities and grounds.
• Liaise with contractors to ensure high standards and timeliness.
• Maintain heating, water, and electricity systems and perform routine checks.
• Implement planned repair and maintenance as per Estates Plan and Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor Health & Safety policies related to building, facilities, cleaning and grounds.
• Manage stock within agreed budget and maintain inventory of equipment.
