Job summary

Stirfood in the United Kingdom is hiring a Chef to lead the preparation and delivery of a nutritionally exciting and unique school menu. You will use fresh, sustainable ingredients and your culinary flair to provide high quality meals and service to students and staff.

The role offers Monday to Friday shifts, 35 hours per week during term time, with a £14 per hour rate. You will follow recipes focused on nutrition, uphold food hygiene and safety standards, and support a friendly on-site team and

Qualifications

• Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients (school catering experience is a bonus).
• Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 (training provided if required).
• Expert in kitchen Health and Safety practices.
• Self-motivated, creative, with initiative.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver nutritionally-focused menus using our recipes.
• Create delicious meals daily for students and staff.
• Manage special hospitality requests for clients.
• Maintain high standards of Food Hygiene, Allergen control and Health & Safety.
• Be a positive role model and support the team.
• Build positive relationships with clients and customers.
